After being unable to get ARIS to run in landscape mode on my phone (which I guess is a whole separate issue) I switched to an iPad Air 2. When I launch the app I get the list of public games; however, the bar at the bottom that has the Nearby, Popular, Mine, etc. options never appears and I can't scroll all the way down the visible list of games.
I have to use the home button to get out of the app, then go back into it after which I'll be able to navigate the list and will also have the Nearby/Popular/etc.menu bar.
I've had the same issue on two different iPad Air 2's both running iOS 10.3.3. I've also tried it on three different wifi networks and also tethered to my phone's hotspot and have gotten the same result in all scenarios. I've also tried removing and reinstalling ARIS. Does anybody have a suggestion for how to fix this?
I can get a screen recording of what I'm seeing if it will help but in the meantime here's a screenshot of what I see on my iPad on the initial launch:
and here's what I get after I go back to my homescreen and go back in:
