Request: More than 10 in js Leaderboard

Just want to log this on the new forum...

The javascript for the customizable ARIS leaderboard is awesome.

However, my understanding is it is limited to showing the top 10 scorers and that has been our experience using the code.

We would be interested in it tracking a much greater number of players and scores.

If anyone is enterprising in the realm of ARIS javascript, please know that there would be interest in this feature.

+1 from me on this one. It is coded into the function itself. Probably there to keep it performant without killing the server, but maybe having a variable size that goes a bit higher would be helpful. 50? 100?

100 would be great.

Also, not sure it's possible, but an expiration date on the score might be useful as well. When we were just figuring out what the heck to do months ago, we created all kinds of player accounts and beta-tested stuff racking up points that now we can't get rid of on the main leaderboard until actual players bump this off. Now, I can clone the whole game or change the name of the points object unit to get around this, so this may not be huge deal, but it is somewhat inconvenient. A way for the designer to weed out scorers that don't belong would be helpful. Thinking back to pinball scores, if you ever unplugged the machine, you could wipe out or reset the scores--depending, I suppose on the particular machine/game. We'd like to be able to do something similar--clear the leaderboard to get ready for a focused game event. This is very low-priority stuff compared to increasing the number of players whose scores are represented.

We want to be able to show impact to funders and we want to show status/achievement to player/users to incentivize them to go back and do more. If they don't show up at all on the board, they lack the feedback to know where they fit or how they can improve. And if we only have 10 names on the board, we can't as easily show funders that we will have over a hundred people participating. So, yes, a toggle that allows a different number of top scores would be grand. We would toggle it to show as many as possible.
